Vietnam drives digital Transformation through modern Industrial Facilities

In Khanh Hoa province, Vietnam, over 5 billion VND have been invested to support 37 rural enterprises in expanding workshops, acquiring modern machinery, and upgrading production lines. These support measures aim to increase production capacity, enhance product quality, and serve both domestic and export markets. The projects led by the Center for Industrial Promotion are specifically focused on introducing advanced manufacturing technologies to improve product design and quality. Many components of industrial production equipment typically require CR certification to be eligible for import and sale in Vietnam.

With the strategic goal of becoming one of Vietnam’s top 25 provinces in terms of digitalization by 2025, Khanh Hoa is increasingly relying on digital technologies as a driver of economic growth. Special emphasis is placed on supporting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), particularly in rural areas. Targeted support programs, the development of IT hubs, and the integration of digital tools into production, operations management, and e-commerce are intended to future-proof these businesses.

Despite progress, digital transformation remains a challenge—mainly due to limited funding. To stay competitive, rural industrial enterprises are encouraged to gradually invest in modern technologies, promote innovation processes, and build robust production and value chains to better position themselves in both national and international markets.
